Aeroflow Subaru EJ Dual Port Sandwich & Oil Thermostat AdapterM20 Filter Thread With 4 x -10 ORB ports, 1/8" NPT Port
Perfect for use with Aeroflow oil coolers, this billet aluminium dual port sandwich and thermostat combines the engine oil filter and oil thermostat in one convenient unit. This is great for those wanting to remove extra lines and fittings required to run the thermostat in a separate location.
The built-in thermostat is the similar to the AF64-4111 which helps maintain engine oil temperature by holding the oil until it reaches operating temperature at (82 °C) 180 °F when the thermostat is fully open to allow full flow to the oil cooler. It will self-adjust flow according to the oil temperature to maintain a constant operating oil temperature just like a coolant thermostat would operate.
The main body is made from billet 6061 aluminium, then anodized black for great looks and corrosion resistance. It has been designed specificality for the Subaru EJ engine to maneuver around all types of exhaust headers both equal and aftermarket headers. The user can choose where the lines are run in and out of the sandwich adapter with two different set of ports either facing in line or downward (at a 45 degree angle from the engine) for clearance. This unit retains the factory oil cooler on the engine.
This feature 4 x inlets and outlets -10AN ORB ports provided for plumbing the engine oil to and from the oil cooler. Two 1/8" NPT port and plugs are provided for an auxiliary sensor. The filter head attached has a M20 x 1.5mm filter thread insert supplied with kit.
