4G63 Aeroflow Engine Components.

The Mitsubishi 4G63 has powered some seriously quick street, drag and circuit cars—and Aeroflow Performance has just made building one a whole lot easier.

Aeroflow has expanded its engine range with new cast-iron 4G63 and 4G64 engine blocks, three billet crankshaft options and two forged I-beam conrod sets.

Whether you’re replacing a damaged factory block, starting a fresh performance build or putting together a stroker combination, we can now help supply the core Aeroflow hardware to get your build underway.

Aeroflow 4G63 & 4G64 Cast-Iron Engine Blocks

Aeroflow’s new bare cast-iron engine blocks give Mitsubishi engine builders a fresh foundation without needing to begin with an old or previously modified factory block.

Both options include a forged one-piece main-cap girdle and are available in either 4G63 or 4G64 configuration.

Mitsubishi 4G63 Cast-Iron Block

The 4G63 block is the natural starting point for a traditional 2.0L build or a performance stroker combination.

Aeroflow 4G63 Billet Crankshafts

Aeroflow has also released three billet crankshafts for Mitsubishi 4G63 engine builds.

All three options feature 57mm main journals, 45mm crank pins and are designed to suit the Mitsubishi 4G63 seven-bolt flywheel pattern.

88mm Stroke – 2.0L

The 88mm crankshaft retains the traditional 4G63 stroke and is suited to builders wanting to stay with a responsive 2.0L-style combination.

Aeroflow Forged 4G63 Conrods

Completing the rotating assembly, Aeroflow also offers two forged I-beam conrod sets for Mitsubishi 4G63 builds.

Both options feature a 1.890-inch big-end journal, .866-inch gudgeon pin and ARP 3/8-inch bolts.

The correct conrod length will depend on your chosen block, crankshaft, pistons and desired rod-to-stroke combination.

Which Combination Should You Choose?

The best combination will depend on how the vehicle will be used, your turbo selection, desired powerband and the rest of your engine package.

The 88mm crank is the straightforward choice for a conventional 2.0L-style build. The 94mm option provides additional capacity while sitting between the standard-stroke and larger stroker combinations. The 100mm option is aimed at builders wanting the greatest capacity and a stronger focus on torque.

Final engine capacity will depend on the selected block, finished bore size and complete rotating assembly.

These are serious engine components, and the complete combination needs to be planned correctly.

Speak with your engine builder before ordering to confirm the required block, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, clearances and machining. Bare engine blocks will require inspection and preparation by a suitably experienced engine machine shop before assembly.
